Twizla 3 is intended for recreational use, and no medical or mental benefits or effects are claimed for it. However, the audio effects are created using frequencies in the ranges used to classify the various states of electrical brain activity (beta, alpha, theta and delta). Some users may therefore wish to experiment with the program as a tool for so-called brainwave rhythm entrainment, the use of an external stimulus to encourage brain activity at specific frequencies. The author has no particular views on the merits or otherwise of entrainment and makes no claims for Twizla 3 in this regard. Please also note that Twizla 3 can produce an audio output called a "binaural beat". This is the simulation of a low frequency signal by playing slightly offset audio tones to the right and left stereo channels. This output is designed for headphone listening at very low volume. Playing the binaural beat through loudspeakers, or at high volumes, can at best be annoying to others and at worst may damage your speakers or your hearing. ---------------------------------------- ReadMe.txt last updated 26th August 2010
